Personal Vibration Meter
The SV 106 is an all new six-channel human vibration exposure (HVE) meter and frequency analyzer. This rugged instrument meets the ISO 8041:2005 standard and it is an ideal choice for measurements according to ISO 2631-1, 2&5 and ISO 5349. The revolutionary, pocket-size instrument enables simultaneous measurements with two triaxial accelerometers (e.g. both-hands vibration or triaxial SEAT transmission measurements are possible) for ultimate flexibility and minimum measurement time for the user.
The RMS, Peak, Peak-Peak, VDV, MTVV, A(8) or Vibration Dose results with all required frequency weighting filters for the HVE measurements are available with this instrument. Using the computational power of its digital signal processor, the SV 106 can perform real-time 1/1 or 1/3 octave analysis simultaneously to the overall vibration meter mode. Advanced time-history logging with sampling down to 1 second in all channels and time-domain recording of the raw signals (according to ISO 2631-5) to built-in Micro SD flash card give almost unlimited capabilities of data storage.
Results can be easily downloaded to PC using the standard USB interface and SvanPC++ software. SvanPC++ software also provides the setup-editor function which manages the instrument’s measurement settings. The Whole-Body vibration measurement is easier than with other similar products thanks to the low cost SV 38V triaxial seat-accelerometer which can be placed directly on the seat-cushion, the floor or fixed to the back of the seat. The low cost SV 105 triaxial hand arm accelerometer is provided with three fixing grips depending on the test object while the SV 50 triaxial accelerometer set enables Hand-Arm vibration measurements regardless of the type of evaluated tool.
Additionally, for measurements of very high impulse vibration the special adapter SA 55, with low pass mechanical filter that protects the accelerometer from DC shift effect, is also available. Evaluation of the applied grip force (essential for a complete understanding of the measurement) will be available with the dedicated SV 105 or SV 107 hand arm vibration sensor.
